FAQ
Common questions about formats, privacy, and choosing the right page.
Why does AISaver have separate pages for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity?
Because people use these tools differently. ChatGPT users often care about projects and prompt history, Claude users care about long-form thinking, Gemini users care about image-rich chats, and Perplexity users care about research threads and Spaces.
Which export formats does AISaver support?
AISaver focuses on three main destinations: Notion, Markdown, and PDF. Markdown works especially well for Obsidian and other note-based systems.
Is AISaver local-first?
Yes. Markdown and PDF exports are generated locally in the browser. Notion is only used when you connect your own workspace and explicitly choose Notion sync.
Which plugin should I choose?
Choose the one that matches the AI product you use most. Each page explains the setup, export targets, and common use cases for that platform.
Can I use AISaver to bulk export ChatGPT conversations, save Gemini chats with images, or archive Perplexity research in Obsidian?
Yes. The ChatGPT page covers bulk export and project history, the Gemini page covers image-heavy and structured chats, and the Perplexity page focuses on research threads, Spaces, and Markdown archives for Obsidian-style note systems.
Is AISaver suitable for people who want to save AI chats to Notion instead of leaving them trapped in the browser?
Yes. Many users want to save ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity conversations to Notion, Markdown, or PDF in a way that feels organized, durable, and easy to revisit later.
