Welcome to AISaver.app ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website and the AISaver browser extension. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Core Principle: Local-First Architecture
AISaver is designed with a strict "Local-First" approach. Your AI conversations, prompts, and exported data are processed entirely within your local browser. We do not have access to, nor do we store, read, or transmit your conversation histories to any of our own servers.
3. Information We Collect
To provide our service, we interact with minimal data:
- Authentication Data: OAuth tokens used exclusively to connect to third-party destinations (e.g., Notion API). These tokens are stored securely in your browser's local storage.
- Account & Payment Information: If you purchase a Pro or Lifetime license, your payment is processed by our Merchant of Record (Creem.io). We only receive license status and your email address for account management. We never collect or store your credit card details.
- Usage Analytics (Anonymous): We may collect non-identifiable, aggregated telemetry data (such as extension installation status or generic error logs) strictly to improve product stability.
Third-Party Services & APIs
Our extension interacts with external platforms (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity) based on your active browser sessions. Data is transferred directly from these platforms to your chosen destination (e.g., Notion, local Obsidian vault) via official APIs. Please review the privacy policies of these respective third parties, as we are not responsible for their data handling practices.
5. Data Security
Since your chat data remains locally on your device, the security of that data depends on the security of your hardware and browser. We strongly recommend keeping your browser updated and your device secured.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You maintain full control over your data. You can:
- Revoke AISaver's access at any time through your Notion workspace settings.
- Clear all extension data by uninstalling the AISaver browser extension.
- Request deletion of your account/email associated with your license by contacting us.
